Our Financials

The Richardson ISD Foundation’s fiscal year runs from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. At the end of each fiscal year, our financial records are reviewed by an independent audit firm, which also prepares our IRS Form 990. The financial review and Form 990 preparation process begins approximately 60 days after the close of the fiscal year. To maintain auditor independence, ensure competitive pricing, and benefit from fresh professional insight, the Foundation issues a request for proposals (RFP) for audit services every three years.
