How We Help Students.
We believe every student deserves the opportunity to thrive—in the classroom and beyond. From kindergarten to 12th grade, our programs are designed to open doors. With the support of donors and community partners, we’re investing in students at every stage of their educational journey. Together, we’re helping them succeed today and lead tomorrow.
Beyond the Bell
Beyond the Bell is a free afterschool program for Title 1 elementary students in underserved communities that sparks curiosity and connection through STEM, sports, and the arts. Research shows that students who participate in extracurricular activities attend school more regularly and perform better academically. By keeping kids engaged in meaningful, hands-on learning after the school day ends, we’re helping them build confidence, explore their interests, and succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Industry-Based Certifications
We invest in the future workforce by funding industry certifications for high school students. These certifications cover fields like healthcare, construction, cosmetology, automotive, entrepreneurship, and more. By supporting this, we help students gain real-world skills that prepare them for success beyond RISD. This investment not only empowers students but also strengthens our community by building a skilled, ready workforce for tomorrow.
R.A.G.E.
R.A.G.E. (Robotics, Anime, Gaming Experience) is a high-energy event where students explore their passions and discover new possibilities. Through interactive workshops, creative challenges, and hands-on activities, they connect what they love with future opportunities in STEM. Guided by industry experts, students leave inspired, confident, and ready to imagine what comes next.
Senior Scholarships
Every scholarship tells a story—of hope, hard work, and a donor who believes in a brighter future. Through the Richardson ISD Foundation, community partners help graduating seniors take the next step toward college, trade school, or technical training. These gifts lift burdens, fuel dreams, and show students their community is behind them.
