Through Impact Grants, we aim to empower and support district staff in enhancing their skills and improving student outcomes. RISD staff can apply for grants of up to $1,000 to support initiatives in the following areas: Materials and Resources, Professional Development, Student Experiences, and Technology. Impact Grants are made possible through our GEMs monthly giving program. 

“Thank you so much for awarding me this grant. My students have had so much fun being able to actively engage in their learning. I have greatly appreciated having materials I can use with my students who have complex needs. The grant not only impacted my students, [but] it had a profound impact on their families, who got to see firsthand how brilliant their sons/daughters are when given an opportunity. I had one family so excited watching their child participate in learning. They wanted to know where they could get the items I was using.
