GRANTS

The Richardson ISD Foundation and its donors believe students and staff can thrive in an environment where learning is continuous, innovative and focused on achieving positive outcomes. We also believe that the need to keep staff and students connected and engaged is more important now than ever before. Finally, we believe that school budgets are not enough to fully cover the costs of providing impactful opportunities that result in higher achievement from students and staff while celebrating their successes. Because of these beliefs, the Foundation raises funds to provide grants that enhance the overall learning environment in Richardson ISD at the District, campus and classroom levels.

IMPACT GRANTS

Formerly known as the Ensuring Excellent Educators (E3) Grants, our Impact Grants are designed to support district staff who seek to improve their skills and positively impact student outcomes. RISD staff may apply for up to $1,000 in the following areas: Materials & Resources, Professional Development, Student Experiences, and Technology.

INNOVATION GRANTS

Innovative Grants help facilitate unique and creative approaches that encourage higher levels of student learning, stimulate creativity and expand the existing curriculum. Each year, teams and individuals are invited to propose an innovative idea or project and describe how it would impact student outcomes. We will roll out this grant program in the Spring.

PARTNERSHIP GRANTS

Partnership Grants are larger, strategic grants that connect community resources like time, money and expertise with the diverse needs of Richardson ISD students and staff. The funding priority areas for our Partnership Grants are: Early Childhood Literacy, STEM & Innovative Programs, the RISD Graduate Profile and Equity.
